A new kind of punishment

I recently had a coupon for $5 off at the bookstore. I wanted to use it toward one of the Pink Floyd biographies, but my 10 year old son pushed me to buy this movie because he really wanted to see it. We watched it the other day. After seeing it he wanted to throw the disc. This morning when he and my daughter were fighting, I told them that if they didn't behave I would make them watch Magical Mystery Tour again. They immediately stopped fighting.

Yes but when they grow up they'll probably appreciate it more then.

I'll bet ya a shiny new penny they'll eventually appreciate it at least five times as much as any of you would ever have appreciated a Pink Floyd biography.

Considering inflation, maybe we should make that a shiny new nickel.

This film has been statistically proven to turn adolescents to drugs and crime.

Well, drugs, I believe. Crime? That would be a different movie.

Sounds like effective punishment to me!!
