Julian? the kid sitting on johns lap next to george.
The reason i asked was it just seemd so natural the way john was playng with the child.

the clothing seemed kind of girly but after all this was 1967.
and the dvd transfer I saw was not all that clear. witch led to my question.
I guess it was a girl then

Still a very cute and tender moment to enjoy.

The child was a little girl named Nichola...it says so in the end credits :).

I assume that she was the child of a relative or friend as they made up the party on the bus who were not actors.

I think that little kid is Nichola. She's the only squirt mentioned in the credits.

I figured she was a child actor or a friend's kid. Wow those kids are now pushing 60!

According to this webcast http://somethingaboutthebeatles.com/85-magical-mystery-tour-the-film/ she is the granddaughter of the woman who owned the chip shop who also appeared in this film.
