who was bill lear in the movie? or for that matter , who was w p lear sr in real life? i dont expect anyone to know or care , but when i finally saw this not-so-good sequel i noticed his name in the credits and thought he might have been a celebrity cameo.

Bill Lear was an aircraft engineer and designer (the learjet ect).also in 1967 or so he began marketing the 8-track.He probably has a quick background cameo or something,I haven't seen the movie.

He is Flint's co-pilot, in the LearJet.
He designed the LearJet.
