Love that line
shareThe movie Hombre was made from a Western novel by Elmore Leonard, who went on to write modern day crime thrillers that also got made into movies: Mr. Majestyk, Get Shorty, Jackie Brown.
I don't know if that line was in Leonard's novel, but it was definitely in the movie, and Leonard was quoted somewhere as saying:
"That one line gave me my whole career."
I guess that means it led to more books being contracted, more movie scripts being written...
