Because if you're like me you completely forgot the name and don't remember that it's Gnomes and not Leprechauns. By sheer luck, I found a post on darby ogil referring to this movie.

I can't believe I've never heard of this movie before. I randomly found out about it after hearing an interview with Steven Spielberg's biographer, who mentioned that is was one of Steven's influences on E.T.

I just watched it and thought it was great fun.

Some of the opening scenes in the woods I really could see the influence this could have had on E.T.

Great movie. I would have loved this as a kid!

I just finished watching it for the first time, and absolutely loved it! Such a cute movie it is! Karen Dotrice and Matthew Garber were always amazing! I so wish they had made more movies together. Loved them both in "The Three Lives of Thomasina" and "Mary Poppins", too.
