Is this film really supposed to play after the year 1908 ?
In the scene ( short time before the final duel),
where the gun shop owner's lady
puts the letter into the post office box
and talks to Sheriff Murph Allan Short,
we can see a poster reading:

And was Clifton in Arizona really the place,
where Butch Cassidy has been killed ?
Really, he is said to have been killed in Bolivia 1908 !
