New Region 1 DVD from MGM

NAVAJO JOE is scheduled for an R1 release on May 13 2008.

I doubt there will be any extras although it would be great if Burt had done a commentary (it's not like he's been too busy). Personally I will be happy if we can just get an uncut 16 X 9 print.

The cover-art is available now, but as far as I know, no word on languages and aspect ratio.

Amazon lists it as full frame 1:33. Say it ain't so!!!

Actually it also says that it comes in widescreen

Just bought it today, no special features at all, but the film looks great! Do NOT hesitate to buy this DVD.

the transfer's among the best I've seen on DVD. Definitely agree, don't hesitate to get this DVD. Hopefully other Italian stuff owned by MGM will get the same remastering.
