Continuity
There is a scene when Rex Harrison wakes up in a set of white pajamas and than walks out the door and is fully dressed on the other side. Was there something Im missing here or was this done or purpose?

It was a dramatic device to show that time had passed. Presumably, he'd been thinking of talking to the animals for quite some time there.

Thats the thing time hadn't passed it was more 'here i am opening the door in my pajamas' than cut to the other side of the door as it fully swings open and continues walking out the door now fully dressed.
