NINE Oscar Nominations seems like a sick joke....
.... has any film so awful ever had so many nods?!?

The studio I suspect had a lot of money riding on this underwhelming film and probably did a lot of publicity and screenings. It's incredible that it received a Best Picture nod while Cool Hand Luke and In Cold Blood didn't.
