I would imagine that what they have done here is ripped the isolataed score track from the R1 DVD.
shareYes, thanks, probably. I hope the hardcore Camelot fans take advantage of it before it's deleted, which it surely will be. I wish someone would do the same for The Sound of Music. Love the film or hate it, but it has beautifully orchestrated underscoring. Do many DVDs of many musical films have isolated score tracks?

Interesting that you should mention "the sound of music", this does not have an isolated underscore track. But it does have isolated score on the songs (on the commentary track).
shareAs a point of clarification, on the Robert Wise commentary track on the DVD release, most of the international orchestral and effects track IS "isolated", with Wise's commentaries filling the gaps where no underscoring occurs. I think this is the same "isolated" track with Wise's commentaries used in the 40th Anniversary Laser Disc release.
