Re-released? First time on TV?

Hi! Does anyone know this?

I read somewhere that CAMELOT was re-released in theaters in 1973-ish. Does anyone recall this? If that was the case, I wonder when it was first shown on TV? I don't recall it on TV except for the "late movie" or the "morning movie" in the 1980's.

Thanks! :)!!

It aired on NBC in 1976.

I remember recording this on VHS from my local PBS station (WTTW Channel 11) in 1994, uncut and commerical free.

Yes, Warner re-released "Camelot" in the spring of 1973 (April). They used the better Bob Peak artwork for the reissue poster. And in the larger cities there was 70MM Stereo prints used.

Wow, thanks to you both!
I wonder where I can see the re-release artwork? I didn’t know that there were even two different posters.
So, then it was nine years before CAMELOT made it to network TV, huh? (1967 – 1976). I wonder if it was shown in one evening or two parts?

Two parts, and they restored everything that was cut after the initial raodshow release.

NBC aired the two parts 12/25/1976 and 12/27/1976 at 9:00 Eastern/8:00 PM Central.
