Christian Imagery/Themes in the Arthurian Legend

This is not a perfect analysis, but I think it is interesting to consider the following (theoretical) representations in this film:

Camelot as Eden
Arthur as God
Guinevere as Eve
Lancelot as Adam
The carnal sin of Guinevere and Lancelot as Original Sin
Mordred as Satan (Evil)
The Knights of the Round Table as The Disciples (of ideals)
The Jury System as Free Will/Self-Determination (as opposed to Royal Edicts)

Arthur can be seen as having a dual role which includes Christ. In that conception, Merlin might be God.

Lancelot can be seen as having aspects of Christ and/or Robin Hood, where Guinevere is Maid Marion.

Arthur the King loves Law and (the people of) his kingdom (also symbolized by the round table). Arthur the Man loves Guinivere. What makes things confusing for him is that eventually she comes to represent Camelot, the dream ideal.

I don't quite agree.
