Hair and Makeup
For a movie that looked so authentic, it surprised me that they made Bonnie so 60's. I could be wrong, but her hair and makeup did not look like someone during the depression era.

shareThat is true.
shareYes, and the same could be said of Dr. Zhivago. Also a great film, but Geraldine Chaplin and Julie Christie definitely had sixtie's hair, if not sixtie's makeup.
shareOh yeah, you're right. And also in Far From the Madding Crowd, yet another Julie Christie film.
shareThis made me curious about any of her roles from the mid-sixties to 1970. Even in Young Cassidy, which was set in 1911 (filmed in 1965) had the hair...bleached and teased. Not your typical Irish look at that time! Okay, there ends my obsession with sixties hair, for now anyway.
