I heard the new stage revival is horrible. Misscast, terribly staged and the production design looks tacky. If anyone has seen it let me know.

I saw a clip of the play on a TVLand commercial and was appalled by how flat, unnartural, and unamusing Peet seemed, especially since the Fonda/Redford version is hilarious. Peet's tantrums were painful to watch, whereas Lady Jane managed to make hers adorable and amusing.

Amanda Peet is one of the worst actresses ever... That's too bad. There are so many great actresses that they could have cast.

I thought she did a really good job and I loved the play.
