Amazing Music...You will never hear anything like this again

Spiderman was a true classic...

Sure the animation is simplistic and repetitive...in the later episodes downright apocolyptic and trippy. I remembered how annoyed I was a youngster when they played those crappy "Harbor" episodes. How many journey to the centre of the earth journeys can one hero take?

Gimme those blue starry skies anyday....

Back to the music...incredible jazzy scores!

is there anywhere you can get the music on DVD?

I've been looking for the soundtrack for a while.

I heard that some musicians, grouped under the name "Cartoon Crew" re recorded the music in the late 80's or 90's. And they kept it jazzy.

So far, no luck in finding any of them.

Yes, the musical scores were wonderful, whether in the actual theme song, or during the programme. I've always wondered who composes these musical segments.

👍 Groovy!

Verily. The music in some of the later episodes was really interesting and diffrent from most other cartoons of the time. The episode "Home" had some of my favorite pieces.

Check this website out; this guy did some painstaking research in his quest for the Spider-Man music, and he put some links for podcasts with some of the music from the later Bakshi-produced episodes:

The music reminded me of THE DOORS music.

I’ve heard kids on the street singing the theme song.
