I believe you may have the Los Angeles Times to thank for this release. A couple of months ago, they wrote an article asking the question about why this show was being ignored. Basically, the article seemed to attribute it to Paramount just being lazy and not having a very efficient Home entertainment division. Who knows the real story but this seems to be another example that continues the somewhat "negative" reputation Paramount has when it comes to embracing DVD.
shareI hope the Mannix DVD sales are high enough so Paramount will release all the seasons. Kojak only got one DVD season set out before it was canned by Universal.
