Does anyone recognize this description as a scene from an episode of "Mannix"?

Joe is about to be run over by a bad guy's car, when a 'little old lady' in an early Chevrolet Corvair pulls her car in between Joe and the other car, blocking it from treading on him.

Curious to possibly know what season and episode this scene would have appeared in? Don't know the color of the 'little old lady's' Corvair...

A close friend of mine is...I adore Chevrolet and was trying to identify a "Corvair sighting" from an episode of "Mannix" that my friend had once related to me.

I'm not positive, but it sounds like season two's "Merry Go Round For Murder." I'll have to check the DVD later on.

Nope, that wasn't the one. There was a little old lady in the episode who figured in the plot and there was a car rental place, but no Corvair.
