All the episodes follow this basic formula : The plot is unnecessarily complicated and very hard to follow. This just disguises the fact that it's ludicrous and stupid . Mannix gets knocked out by the butt of a gun around every other episode. He always gets into fist fights . There are at least two hot women in each episode and. Mannix makes out with one of them .
That 's the formula , but it's still entertaining.
By the way, Mannix was one of my favorite shows and I have the complete series DVD. What sets it apart is that Mannix was very human...not always honest, aggressive, and checked out the ladies as they walked by .
shareLet me clarify my initial post here. Upon further reflection , I've come to the realization that the plot lines of the Mannix episodes are not stupid and hard to follow...they are intelligent and I just can't follow them. Hell, I even have trouble following the plot of an I Love Lucy episode.
