Connors turned 90 just recently (Aug. 15). Campanella turns 91 on Nov. 21.
Did either of them ever do interviews or commentary for the DVD releases of the show?
I confess I've never seen the show, but after reading the front page review, I'd very much like to.
I do have the entire series on DVD and yes they both did an interview side by side on the Season 1 DVD's. The interviews are from 2008 when the first season was released. I believe it was disc 1 and 2 that had the interviews. Both Connors and Campanella have aged quite well. Campanella really looked good. If you like action packed P.I. shows, I would recommend Mannix and also Magnmu PI.
shareConnors really got a work out in the Mannix show. A lot more badass than the shows now. Its not like he always took out his gun all the time. Climbing stairs and crouching etc.

Campanella was born in 1924 and Conners in 1925. WOW!
I say that because tonight, I'm wrapping up the series on DVD and it
amazes me that it's been 50 years ago (this Dec.) since they filmed the pilot show.
I was born in 1968 and still in 2nd grade when the series ended and (somehow) had never seen a rerun (except the final show, when in 2003, TV LAND paid tribute to John Ritter by showing many of his TV guest roles, which included the last MANNIX.
Over the last few months (with a lot of delays and interruptions)
I've gone season to season and tonight I'll be viewing the final 5.
Glad i got to see the whole series before
it was too late. (Except for Gail Fisher and Ward Wood and others.)
