RIP Mike Connors.
Who do you think could play Mannix on the big Screen. I was thinking Oscar Issac from The Force Awakens who played Poe Dameron.

Good advice
Sorry but the idea is absurd. The character of Mannix was so inextricably bound up with the personality of the actor playing him that no contemporary actor could possibly do the part justice. In other words, Mannix died with Mike Connors.
Same goes for Jim Rockford. Rockford IS James Garner and James Garner is Jim Rockford.
Enterprising producers would be better off coming up with a new archetypal PI and doing a movie about him.
