Irene Forsyte's step mother

I recall that Irene step mother had a French accent, and was thinner than what I've just seen, which is apparently the original version. Does my memory deceive me or were some of these scenes re-shoot with a different actor. I could have sworn the actor was different, than the one I've just seen (after maybe 40 years)

Irene's stepmother didn't have a French accent - perhaps you have her confused with Annette's mother?

Yes, just saw that episode. Thanks. Working my way through them all.

THE FORSYTE SAGA is well worth working your way through - although I found them at times tiresome and irritating, I also found them (the Forsytes, not the episodes) fascinating, especially as presented in this series - I honestly don't think I'd have found them half as interesting had I seen the newer version first. The 1967 version was also a huge help in reading the novels.
