As far as I understand, Roz Russell died before her autobiography came out, and it was as much a product of her widower', theatrical producer Frederick Brisson, as it was her own opinions. What she said about Hayley Mills was something like she was bursting at the seams with repressed sexuality, and she stuck her tongue out at Roz Russell whenever she passed. Well, I kind of think the "repressed sexuality" thing was Fred Brisson's contribution, and Hayley Mills has been extremely generous in her remarks about what "Russell" said, even though she seems mystified as to why that opinion was in the book. She says that Russell was very beautiful, a great star, everybody in the cast had tremendous respect for her. Obviously given the age and status differences, they were not close, but over the years Mills has been pretty candid, and I think if she had been rude to Russell she'd have called herself out. I call b.s. on the autobiography.
