This movie is hilarious! I am enjoying the HELL out of it! (I mean, I'm enjoying the HECK out of it! Sorry, reverend mother!)
Rosalind Russell, Hayley Mills, the actress playing Rachel, Mary Wickes, lots of great small roles too, everybody is making this movie a delight.
I laughed out loud when Mary and Rachel were making Nazi salutes when the mother superior's back was turned.
Not my type of movie, really. But I'm really loving this.

shareI'll assume that a couple of people who have replied on this thread did not watch the movie. "Scathingly Brilliant" was Mary's catchphrase when she got a mischievous idea.

Great movie!
Obviously not "anyone" lol... but it was a surprisingly entertaining and well-written "family" film with terrific performances. I thought Rosalind Russell's work as Mother Superior was superior to Katharine Hepburn's star turn the following year in Guess Who's Come to Dinner? which won Hepburn the Best Actress Oscar.
