model of ship, San Pablo

Wasn't aware there was so many fans of the movie. Just by accident came across a home made model of the ship, the San Pablo, on Flickr. Apparently not many people have found it since there's only 16 views of it. Then looking into the matter a little further was surprised that there is even a website, thesandpebbles.

It's not difficult to cobble together enough information to draft a plan for this boat; looking around for British-designed harbour and river vessels of the period 1923-1934 yields many similar designs (180 feet was apparently a Golden Mean for riverboats) so a 3-way view or a deck plan may easily be made. Additionally, the powerplant, deck fittings, equipment, and even design vernacular are all well-documented for this period. Hopefully the actual plans (if they exist) may surface on the Internet some day.
