Diane Clare's Quick Exit

Often actresses get married and disappear from movies. Is this what happened to Diane? She reminds me of Rosalba Neri-very strong personality in addition to tremendous physical beauty. She was also outstanding in Beast Of Morocco. If she chose to, certainly could have been around for years making a very nice living in movies!

Hammer is firing on all cylinders with Plague Of The Zombies!

IMO some actresses get married disappear from movies because are not sure of their movie career, I mean as Michael Douglas stated many years ago in Hollywood there is too much favoritism and many talented people can't go on.
This about Hollywood and I'm sure this happens in any movie-world.
Usually actresses marry rich men and so they can get a quiet future.
You can be the best in the auditions but there'll always be people who "have friends in high places" jumping the queue.

I know that she was married to the writer Barry England but I don't know when. It was disappointing that she didn't make many films as she was good in 'The Plague of the Zombies.' Sadly Diane Clare has just recently died (21st June, 2013).

Besides getting married in 1967, she might not have been crazy about the horror roles she was getting. Maybe she was offered a role that involved nudity and she decided to say the heck with it. Whatever the reason, I found her to be a very sweet and likeable presence on the screen and wished she had hung around longer.

No blah, blah, blah!
