DVD Trailer Edit

When I was a kid, I saw this film called "Fantastic Dinosaurs of the Movies" which was about a fifteen minute "behind the scenes" romp, followed by seemingly endless trailors of various dinosaur films. One of them was One Million Years B.C.

When the narrorator got the description for the pteranodon, he identified it as a "winged reptile with giant teeth." In the Region 1 DVD from Fox, the trailor cuts out saying "winged reptile with giant te-." It's very odd that they would do that. The pteranodon does not have teeth, the name itself means "winged no-tooth," but I don't see the point of editing the narration. After all, they didn't get the creature right (a pterodactyl does show up, but it does so to battle the pteranodon), so why bother with whether or not it has teeth? The "te" edit is just weird.
