Should John have been in the blond tribe???

John Richardson has very dark hair in this movie (including dark chest hair) yet in SHE he is very very blond! Does anybody know whether he was dark or blond in real life? And in those Italian exploitation films he did in the twilight of his career, did John ever reveal even more of his physique than is on display in One Million Years BC? Thanks in advance for any responses.

If I recall, Richardson had light brown hair in SHE (1965), but was totally blond for VENGENCE OF SHE (1967). Don't know exactly what color his hair actually was.

Richardson was a competent actor, but Raquel Welch recalls that he was more interested in photography than acting, and while doing ONE MILLION YEARS B.C. he always had a camera close at hand and took a great many shots of the scenic areas they were filming in.

That's why he retired from acting and became a photographer. (He was sooooooo handsome back then - and such beautiful eyes! I think he could've been England's answer to Steve McQueen, if he'd stuck with it...)

Yes he was very interested in photography but Richardson was MOSTLY interested in slutty cave girl Martine Beswick and they became a couple for years....(wish I could have seen some of THOSE pictures!)
