Anybody know what this old cowboy movie is?

Does anybody know what this movie is, which I believe to be a cowboy movie. A man buys an old house which is falling to pieces. The man and his friend who was at one time a big rodeo rider fix up the house, one of the scenes shows them repairing the roof and they fix it up really good. The man's friend used to be a rodeo rider but he had an injury from the sport so he walks with a limp. They fix up the house really good but unfortunately it gets burned down. Does anybody know what the movie is I'm talking about?

Might be "The Lusty Men" from 1952. Starring Robert Mitchum, Susan Hayward, and Arthur Kennedy.

FISTOFFURY, It is " When the Legends Die (1972) " Federic Forrest as Tom Black Bull and Richard Widmark as Red Dillon. Tom a Native American, is raised by relatives in the old ways. Tom is taken away to an Indian school by his reservation tribe from the mountains as a child when his remaining family die. Red sees Tom ride a horse, expertly and convinces the Tribal leaders to apprentice Tom to Red who is a retired rodeo cowboy and now a grifter. Red schemes to put Tom Black Bull in Pro-Rodeo and steal all his winnings. At first Tom believes he is not allowed to leave Red Dillon or he will be imprisoned. Tom Black Bull eventually wakes up and leaves Red who wastes away in his old family ranch house as a drunk. Tom Black Bull becomes very successful helps the now old man Red and fix up his house. Red dies and Tom Black Bull still very bitter burns down Reds old ranch house (because he wants nothing from or nothing to do with Red who used and abused him). Tom returns to his Tribe and asks the elders for permission to train the young in the old ways.
