shareIn regards to the song, I think the duck is considered the outcast. Someone who doesn't fit in. The swans are the popular pretty girls and the eagles and the popular boys. I believe someone who didn't fit in was described as being an odd duck. And God is supposed to love everyone, including the unpopular odd ducks no one else loves.
