does anyone know what car audrey and peter drive in the movie?

It's a Jaguar e-type, circa 1966. If anything could possibly make Simon sexier, it's that car.

Close. Nicole's car is an Autobianchi Bianchina. Upmarket version of the 500, essentially. The old Fiat 500s were never available in a pillar-less roadster configuration like the car in the film.

Correct, also known as the Rich man's Fiat 500. Bianchina was a conglomerate formed by Fiat, Pirelli & Bianchi, the Italian designer house, best known for it's bicyles (it is currently the world's oldest bicycle manufacturer, although with it's current financial woes, for how much longer...

Actually the car is a Autobianchi Bianchina, it is not a Fiat.
