Such a sad loss!
My friends say they prefer the new Dumbledore in the Harry Potter films. Although I don't go mad on the Harry Potter films I do really like them. For me Richard Harris will always be the best Dumbledore!! every time Dumbledore came on screen in Harry Potter 1 and 2, there was a certain 'glow' to the screen. The new Dumbledore, although a very good actor I'm sure, just doesn't seem to be Dumbledorey as should be. Indeed the new Dumbledore has interpretated Dumbledore's character in his own way, as he should as an actor but Richard Harris will always be my Dumbledore!!
What does everyone else think?

Good point, but while we're off the subject I really liked him best in Camelot.

I thought it was interesting to see Richard (movie Arthur) with Julie (stage Guenevere) cast together in HAWAII. I thought they would have been good together in the screen CAMELOT.

Totally HOT in Hawaii!

Richard Harris was gorgeous in this film. I think Jerusha had lots of quiet smiles thinking about Raefer.

I had such a huge crush on him as a young teenager. I played "McArthur's Park", even after my mom threatened to throw it out the window. Such a dreamboat.
