Roger Stoddard's Car
After his accident, Scott Stoddard begins his return to grand prix racing by driving his older brother's (Roger's) race car at the family farm.
I always thought that this front engine Formula 1 race car was a Vanwall from the late 1950s. Upon watching the new DVD on a 50" Plasma monitor, I saw that the Lotus emblem on this race car, so it is not a Vanwall.
It appears that Roger's car is a Lotus Type 16 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lotus_16 from 1961. According to the this Wikipedia article, " ...such was the visual similarity between the Vanwall and Lotus 16 designs that the Lotus was often dubbed the "mini Vanwall"[1] by the contemporary motor sport press."
