American VS. Japanese version?
I always preferred the US version because it moved a lot faster and had a couple extra scenes of destruction (some extra shots of explosions injected here and there during the fighting if I remember right). The changed music helped in a few places to generate more of a sense of excitement.
The Japanese version is a lot more slow and melancholy by comparison. Nowadays, I do find the American music to get a bit grating as the action scenes go on. It feels like they looped about 15 seconds of music over and over again ad nauseum.
How does everyone else feel about the different versions?
