I have seen this movie dozens of time and not once have I seen James Brolin. Exactly where is he in the movie?

When the crew is boarding the sub, a technician is loading stuff into the sub. That's Brolin. He has a couple of throwaway lines. Maybe 10 seconds of screen time and no close ups. Easy to miss.
