i do,i watch this special at least once a year! and im only 12! 13 on the 25Th!
i started watching it 5 or 6 years ago when my old babysitter put it on,(vhs)
so do u have a tradition with this christmas special?

Yep; I watch it every New Years Eve right before bed. Sadly I missed it this last year because I was staying at my in-law's house and they were loud and drunk and if I can't watch the Grinch in peace I will not watch it at all!

I have always watched this every December, we have a recorded version on VHS from the early 1980s that I used to watch, now I have a DVD (still have the VHS though).
Now I host a Holiday Movie Challenge every year starting the week of Thanksgiving, and this is always a movie to watch for it.
When I was little we would watch it every year on Thanksgiving after we got home from my grandmas. It always used to be on tv Thanksgiving night, now if they play it at all it's on so early in November, it's very sad, this movie is a classic!

shareYeah! My whole life I've watched this(and Rudolph) every single year. My older brother has the same tradition, and he can quote it perfectly. We have to buy the DVD, though. Our old and much-loved VHS is about obsolete now.

As with all of our Christmas DVD's, my wife and I watch Grinch ONCE each Christmas season, so as not to make it too tired. We try not to watch it on TV, because I hate commercial breaks.
