Missing/substituted scene?

I was watching the 1994 'Making Of' doc starring Phil Hartman on my 'Deluxe Edition' DVD of the Grinch tonight, when I realized there was a missing/alternate - and beautifully animated!! - scene of the Grinch raising his hand to his chin and saying, "I must find some way to keep Christmas from coming!"

EDIT: Here is the scene I'm referring to in the documentary, which is different than what was included in the final film. It starts at 8:44:

Can anyone shed some light on this scene? Is the DVD edited/cut? I'm a completist and want as much grouchy Grinch animation as I can possibly get my little green hands on!

The scene of the Grinch with his hand to his chin and saying that line is in the special. Was there an alternate scene to this?

I saw that special/scene - I'm guessing they put it together, then thought it was maybe too static or subtle, and redid the scene with more villainous flair in his action.
