Richard Bradford

Exceptional performance from this hugely underrated actor. The fight scene with Brando being the deciding factor for him to earn the starring role in the British cult TV series 'Man in a Suitcase'. Not bad to get your own TV series after your movie debut!

Bradford was really good in this movie.

What's interesting is that he drops out of sight for what seems like decades...then resurfaces as a big, portly character actor who has a very busy career doing supporting roles in major feature films....I still remember him as the wily Russian spymaster in "Little Nikita"

There's a 2004 interview with Bradford for the DVD release of MAN WITH A SUITCASE (it's on youtube) in which he talks about his career and how he got a rep for being difficult to work with because he insisted on making the character as realistic as possible--that definitely kept him from ever doing anymore British shows, which, if you're seen MAN WITH A SUITCASE, is a shame, because he was pretty good in the show. In fact, his realistic, surprisingly un-heroic and harsh (for its era) portrayal of the title character, McGill, in the main reason the show still has some fans today (saw some episodes on the tube---pretty good show.) It's only available on Region 2 DVD, as far as I know. But,yeah, he did continue to work, though, up until the late '00s, so he did have a nice decnet long career,at least. And, yeah, he was really good in THE CHASE, gray hair and all.
