Music Score

Just found this film on DVD. This was one of those films that I remember seeing in my youth. The one thing about the film that I always remembered was William Lava's score. I thought then and now what a great score it was. One of the times that I saw it years ago I recorded the soundtrack to listen to often. Just seeing it recently on DVD reminded me once again how good Lava's score was. Thanks to Warners for the DVD release.

I agree. William Lava's score was indeed quite excellent and effective.

"We're all part Shatner/And part James Dean/Part Warren Oates/And Steven McQueen"

Seems to me there are 'echoes' of David Buttolph's score for the 1953 HOUSE OF WAX (among the many echoes of that film here).

"In my case, self-absorption is completely justified."
