Where was Blue Max filmed

I was watching Blue Max on the TV the other day and near the end there was a scene in the street that James Mason was looking at out the window. Suddenly the street looked really familiar. It looked exactly like the front square of Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland (I'm a student at Trinity, hence my interest). Can anyone confirm that part of the film was shot on location in Dublin?
Thanks, Orla

Orla: You're quite perceptive. Filming locations included:

Weston Aerodrome, Leixlip, County Kildare
Wicklow Town, County Wicklow
and Dublin

All in "The Old Sod"...Ireland.

Best of luck with your studies.

Orla...thanks for your sentiments. I have to come clean. I looked it up on the Imdb info page for the movie regarding shooting locations.

I cannot claim the title of "Obi-Wan" of Film. I get the facts where everyone else can get 'em...right on Imdb!

Good luck with your studies...it must be great going to univerisity in Dublin!
