What was the name of the song that continually appeared in the movie? At first it was sung by the officers in the truck, then later it could be heard played by a band at the ceremony after Willi was awarded his medal.

The message of this song is about a beautyful polish Girl you fell in Love with, and you´ll always tryin´ to kiss her. But she never let you (Refrain "but no, but no, said she, i´ll kiss never!") After a Dance, she gave you her first kiss with the plea, to not forget her. And as you came back to Poland willing to fulfill your plight, you cannot find her. Because under an Oak, there was found her Body with an note in her Hand: "i´ve kissed once and atoned for it". In the last Refrain there is (a little bit racistic) an advice, just to take an bavarian Girl, cause they´re stronger than any polish Girl and has not to die after the first Kiss...
