When searching for the first kill he is in a side car. My question is, isnt the sidecar on the wrong side for a German motorcycle.

I noticed that too. Seems like it would be a British bike. You don't want the sidecar on the side of approaching traffic.

Since this film was shot mainly in Ireland its resonable to assume that this was a British built MC combination.
