hi. as an extra in blue max movie , i was very pleased to see on a visit to weston airport leixlip that mr jim mansfield [owner of airport] has opened a bistro called the blue max. it is on second floor of main terminal building . there are wine barrels as tables and high stools. also there is a large photo of george peppard in his uniform as you enter bistro.

hi all.the blue max bistro in at weston airport about 15 km west of Dublin. the airport is beside the river liffey. airport was used in movie. only grass runway back then. 10 min walk from leixlip village co kildare.
