Sunlight
Why did they have the vampire able to walk around in broad daylight? I thought the sunlight killed vampires.

shareDepends on the movie. In Bram Stoker's novel, the sunlight didn't kill Dracula, but took away his supernatural powers.

It should be noted, like in a lot of TV shows in the 1960s, and many films prior, night time scenes were shot during the day, and then they tried to make it look like night in editing, I guess.
So, the shots that look like day time could actually be night time. Or, this Dracula was impervious to light.

I'm on the road less traveled...
I would say it's the latter. I've seen some really bad day-for-night shots before, but the stagecoach was clearly operating during daylight hours. They had a Dracula who wasn't harmed by sunlight.
shareIt does. You found a plot hole. Good job
