When will we finally get a faithful version of the Penguin?
I'm really enjoying Robin Taylor Lord as Oswald/The Penguin at the moment in "Gotham" but he's still playing up the savage side of the character we saw exemplified by Danny DeVito's sewer beast in 'Batman Returns'. So far Burgess Meredith has come the closest to capturing the refined, pseudo-aristocratic demeanour of the comic-book world's 'gentleman of crime'. Will that version ever return to our screens?
