is this the best movie involving an animal with tragedy?

1)Amores Perros.
2)A hasard Balthazar.
3)I am Legend.
4)Marley and Me.
5)Dances with Wolves.
6)My Dog Skip.

I guess you could say jaws i think.

There is a trend in all those movies except for a hassard balthazar and dances with wolves but anyways, i am a dog lover. so i cried in all these movies but one and yes i am a guy. lol.

For heaven's sake don't watch "Where the Red Fern Grows" if you cry at movies like this then!

I'm male as well (and almost 40!), and bawled like a baby at that one! Cried at "My Dog Skip" as well! I'm a HUGE sucker for animal or kid movies. Best tearjerkers for me are "Bridge to Terabithia", which reduces me to a quivering wreck every time I watch it, and "Martian Child", a little known, but truly wonderful film. As for the above.. watch Red Fern, original or remake.. you'll LOVE it, though I absolutely 100% guarantee you'll cry! Also recommended is The Yearling (the original), Old Yeller.. and I'm happy to recommend some more if you're interested, and when I have my DVD Profiler open!

Who says us blokes aren't allowed a good cry as well.. we are human as well, and shouldn't be exclusive to the opposite gender!

Try 'Ring Of Bright Water' (though it's not about dogs).

Plague Dogs is a sad, haunting film.

'What does it matter what you say about people?'
Touch of Evil (Orson Welles, 1958).

Plague Dogs just killed me. I cried all the way through it and for about a half hour afterwards.

Kes is my favorite animal tragedy. Oh, and in a different vein, King Kong.

Dictated, but not read.

Not sure how many movies involve plants, fungi or slime molds with tragedy.
