Anamorphic DVD?

Is there an Anamorphic DVD available for this film? I love the Criterion Collection, but their DVD is old and is non anamorphic and when I try to "zoom" in on the image to unstretch it on my 16:9 TV, the subtitles are cut off. This is very frustrating!

I believe there is the 180 minute version from RUSCIO (spelling?) which I would love to take a look at, especially to compare the different cuts and translations, but is this version an anamorphic DVD?

EDIT: It appears that currently on Amazon, the Criterion DVD is the only English subtitled version avaliable.

Actually the Criterion DVD is Anamorphic. Here is a comparison with the Russian Bluray: http://www.caps-a-holic.com/hd_vergleiche/multi_list.php?hd_multiID=1234

I just watched it on both DVD (Criterion) and on Hulu. Hulu was anamorphic but the DVD was not.
