Because those hoodies were pretty badass. Might have surpassed Death's in the Seventh Seal.

It was floating around in the 200's or so for a while. It might've got bumped off by someone else's voting war or something (knowing IMDb).

It needs to be in the top 100. It's in mine and that is all that matters anyway.

My favorite Tarkovsky film too...although there are still 2 or 3 I have not yet seen.

This is truly an awesome movie. 4/5 of the stuff that's in the top 250 doesn't even come close to this. Then again, the top 250 of imdb is no reliable source for truly great films. I mean, come on, The Shawshank redemption is nr.1 and The Dark Knight is somewhere in the top 10. Nuff said.

This movie would be at least 113 in the top 250 list... why isn't it up there? It has nearly 20k Votes. Does somebody know how movies get chosen into the top 250?

They have to have a minimum of 25,000 votes to be in the top 250. It'll eventually get up there.

It will be in the 250 once it reaches 25,000 votes. Just give it a bit of time.
