shareMmm, it would have been more satisfying if that had been resolved. Obviously the whole tease of two strangers fated to be killed by the Kid was a dramatic misdirection, but it was still a letdown that it was just left hanging unresolved.
I sometimes wonder if TV writing has merely gotten more sophisticated over time, and more thought is given to dramatic resolutions these days. It usually seems not to have been a consideration at all for older TV shows.
