He passed away earlier today. He had been sick for some time. Wow only Mickey is left. The YouTube tributes are flooding in. I was born in the late 60's, but liked the group.

shareI was not a big fan , therefore I did not keep up. But I did read he was sick for awhile, when the other 3 were touring. I also read he had other interests for years. Although I did read there were rumors Davy resented Mike for stirring up trouble back in the day during their heyday, regarding the show.
Yeah, there was a movie about it but I didn't see it.

shareYes he did, a very pretty song. Very controversial back then , since Linda was implying in the song, she liked being a free woman. My prayers go to Linda as well who is also dealing with health issues. Another song of his I like was "Don't Call On Me". It was played on the episode where the Monkees went to Paris.
