It might be cool to have a movie reboot of The Monkees TV show similar to the 2009 Star Trek movie in which the 1960s Monkees travel to modern times and meet the modern-day Micky and Mike and have to stop some evil record company from kidnapping the younger versions of the band using the Monkees as slaves to produce Monkees songs in the 21st century.

If they made an in-depth biopic film with lookalikes showing the boys larking about on set, meeting the Beatles etc?
Maybe it could be advertised as a biopic like Rocketman and Bohemian Rhapsody but it actually is a sequel to Head and the series.
shareThey did 'Daydream Believers: The Monkee's Story' bio pic on VH1 back in the 90s. It was ok. had some good moments, some of the boys looks were a little off as they didn't bother changing their looks as the years went on. I would love to see a more expensive/produced movie.
